I'm Laura S., the breeder behind Graciegold Retrievers located in Castle Pines, CO. We are a small, hobby breeder with the goal to produce happy, healthy and intelligent puppies that thrive in their chosen role. Our love for the golden retriever breed is at the heart of our program and family. We use early neurological stimulation, early scent introduction and the Puppy Culture curriculum to set our pups up for success in their forever homes. Each of our breeding pairs are carefully selected to ensure the best temperament, health, longevity and structural soundness.
Q. & A. with Laura
Why did you start breeding?
While growing up with a golden retriever always around, my affinity towards the breed was established at a young age. After the unexpected loss of one of our dogs with sweetest the disposition, Gracie - I became passionate about learning the best practices to enhance our goldens’ lives. I decided to start a breeding program of my own rooted in these values.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are bred for their outstanding dispositions, intellect, and beauty. All of our breeding dogs are fully health tested. We are passionate about improving the breed and strive to create well-balanced puppies with the best qualities. Our goldens bring our us so much joy. We hope for them to do the same for your family!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
