Meet the breeder

I'm Shannon G., the breeder behind Grand Peaks Labradoodles located in Newdale, ID. We are dedicated to raising puppies with outstanding temperaments, beautiful coats, and excellent conformation. Each puppy is raised in our home, surrounded by our children and all the bustle of family life. We health test all our dogs and strive with every litter to better the breed we love.

Q. & A. with Shannon

  • Why did you start breeding?

We discovered the Australian Labradoodles while searching for an allergy-friendly, low-shedding dog that would be great with children. After falling in love with our first ALD, Maggie, we were inspired to start our breeding program so we could share this wonderful breed with other families.
  • What makes your program special?

We spend every day working closely with our puppies on manners and basic obedience. They leave our home crate-trained and with early potty training in place. We use temperament testing to match each family with the perfect puppy for their home.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include caramel cream, caramel, caramel red, red, apricot, cream, chocolate, black, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
