I'm Kent M., the breeder behind Grandeur Valley Puppies located in Apple Creek, OH. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, adorable puppies and connect loving families with their new best friend! We find so much joy in watching our puppies grow and develop their own unique personalities. We can’t wait for you to meet your next loving and loyal companion!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies are mini size. Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include black, black and white, tri-color, and merle. Cavapoo puppies include merle, white, cream, apricot, brown, blenheim, black and white, black, chocolate, sable, red, tri-color, and black and tan. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Kent

Kent has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kent partners with them to find the best puppy match.

  • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1B), Bernese Mountain Dog Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    There are no words to express my appreciation for Kent and all he did to bring Maverick and I together. My furbaby of 13.5 years crossed the rainbow bridge on 11/21/25. The loss was devastating. I always knew I’d adopt another furbaby but didn’t know when the time would be right. I love my brothers King Charles Cavalier but also love the longer hair of the poodle. I’d never heard of a Cavapoo and from the first moment I saw them, I was hooked! After scouring the internet for breeders I came across Good Dog. After reading testimonials and their mission I felt confident in looking for a breeder through this site. I had been looking at available puppies for a few days and then, I saw that face and knew this was my baby. I reached out to Kent and he got back to me very quickly. I believe we spoke on Monday, January 5, the deposit was made and I picked up Maverick (formerly Link) on January 10! I drove 5.5 hours to Grandeur Valley Puppies and was greeted warmly by Kent. Maverick was kinda leery at first but once Kent put him in my arms it was instant love. Maverick did amazing on the long ride home and settled right in to his new home. He is so sweet, gentle and cuddly. He plays independently and can be very funny. He took immediately to his crate and is starting to figure out potty on the pads (too cold to go outside). I have been blessed with this sweet furbaby. He has helped heal a very broken heart. I am grateful to Kent for what he does because this has changed my life. Thank you for everything!     We found our perfect match, puppy addition, through the Good Dog site. Reached out to Kent to get some information and although he was “off” at the time that I reached out, he still responded promptly and made plans to talk the following day. Due to unavailability on my end, I needed to reschedule that talk to the following day but to avoid losing this little guy that I had my heart set on, I made the deposit through the Good Dog site and spoke with Kent the next day. He was so informative and answered all of the questions. Now that our puppy is home, it is very evident that Kent truly cares about the puppies and the parents of the puppies in his care. He described my little guys personality to a ‘T’ and there is no question in my mind that all of his puppies are truly cared for and about, are healthy, thriving and happy. It’s also very clear that work was put into the puppies, I found out by accident that ours seems to understand “go night-night” and he also knows “potty” and “sit”. Potty training so far is going WAY smoother than I anticipated and we are quickly falling into a routine that works for us. The entire process from connecting with Kent to picking up our newest family member has been so easy and while waiting for our guy to be old enough to come home, I was informed about his vet visit, how he was doing and also received pictures. I am so grateful to Kent and thankful for the Good Dog site that led me to Kent, our puppy is the little piece I didn’t know was missing. My family and I are 💯 in love!!
