Meet the breeder

I'm Katie G., the breeder behind Grandy’s Pretty Poodles located in Wyoming, MI. Our dogs are members of our family, first and foremost. We offer top-quality, healthy puppies from our loving home to yours! We love our dogs and what we do, and we strive to make each puppy a great contribution to its forever home. We're passionate about our program and take pride in our pups. We just (February 2022) had our first puppy pass her final therapy certification! We are proud of the dogs we produce! We use the Puppy Culture program to provide early stimulation and lots of socialization to produce the most confident puppy for your family!

Q. & A. with Katie

  • Why did you start breeding?

When I was younger I had the opportunity to see a few litters of puppies and help whelp a litter of boxers. I fell in love with the whole process very young but did not have the knowledge, time or resources to pursue for many years. We have researched breeding for many years. When our first dog died of cancer at a young age, we decided we wanted to produce better-bred lines. It is important to us that we are breeding versatile, well-rounded, socialized, and healthy pups for our buyers to welcome into their homes and hearts.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs have great temperaments are very smart, well-loved, and socialized. Parents are health tested and pups raised with Puppy Culture. We have high expectations for our puppies and make sure to place each one in an enriching and loving home that will match their temperament and personality. We love what we do and truly want the very best for our puppies and their forever families.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot, black, brown, red, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
