I'm Vanessa A., the breeder behind Great Heart Great Danes located in Fraser, MI. My names is Vanessa Adams, I am born and raised in South East Michigan. I have always had a fondness for Great Danes from afar. When I was finally in a situation to own one I jumped at the chance. The best decision I have ever made. My girl amazed me! She was everything and more than I expected. She is not only my baby, she is my best friend. More people I meet remember her name over mine. She really leaves an impression everywhere we go. I just had to keep her lineage going.
So I began researching the best breeding practices, first and foremost to protect my girl to ensure she was healthy. Also to protect the breed so that we would produce healthy happy companions.
Parents are genetic tested. My Dane is OFA Certified and AKC Registered. Hip results came back as "excellent" . So here we go...off to find a mate!! I chose a male that had a sound structure and a great temperament. To say I am happy with this litter is an understatement. They are stunning, Intelligent and loving all with their own sweet unique personalities. My girl once again did me proud.
