We are conscientious in our breeding practices, and we breed for health, temperament, drive, and ability. We want our dogs to be biddable and able to succeed wherever they are needed, as well as to thrive in their homes with their families.

Tara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I cannot recommend Guardian K9s enough. From inquiry to pickup the process was smooth and a wonderful experience. We had never worked with a breeder before and Tara was so kind and patient with all of our questions. The care and love for the pups that the breeder has is amazing. She worked to make sure that each pup was well socialized and excelled with various interactions and challenges (complete with fun updates and pictures). It was truly a pleasure working with this breeder and I can't thank her enough for all the care she put into raising our sweet pup, Gibson.

My experience with Guardian K9s couldn’t have been better. I stumbled upon their page and immediately fell in love with one of their puppies. From the first interaction, it was great. The response time was very quick, and I felt like their was a good connection with the breeder. They put in a lot of effort to take puppy picture updates, and you could tell they enjoyed doing it. There were multiple options for pickup as well when the day came. Overall it was a seamless and easy process from start to finish. I can’t recommend them enough!
