I'm Angela D., the breeder behind Gulf Coast Schnauzers located in Mobile, AL. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!
Q. & A. with Angela
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding w/the purchase of my second miniature schnauzer in 2004. My first miniature schnauzer Zelly (Schnitzel) was a Christmas gift for my son that had really bad asthma and allergies. About 3-4 years later I got my second schnauzer Neo, when a co-worker of mine had a litter of pups. It was just a matter of time before Zelly had her first litter and that's what started it. My family and I loved having the babies around! :)
What makes your program special?
My babies are all raised in my home & well socialized. They grow up playing with my other dogs, my parents, and my niece (6 years old), so they are very used to both dogs and children. I do everything possible to ensure their health. My vet performs the tail docking and dew claw removal procedure. I give dewormings every 2 weeks until they are 8 weeks old. I also give doses of kennel cough vaccine at 3 weeks and 6 weeks. I follow the AKC vaccination schedule and they receive puppy shots (DPv) at 6 weeks, 10 weeks, and 16 weeks.

Getting a puppy from Angela
Angela has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and between $550 - $1,150 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“My puppies range in price based on expected size at maturity. I primarily focus on the toy-size schnauzers now (6lb to 11lb). Puppies in that range are $1200. Occasionally, I'll have one or two that are projected to be no bigger than 6lb and those are $1500. And if the pup is charting over 11lb, those are $900. The deposit is your commitment to purchase a specific puppy. At that time the puppy is reserved just for you, so no other offers for that puppy are considered. Because of that the deposit is not refundable.”
Contract & health guarantee
Angela may provide a written contract or
health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps
protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you
both have a clear understanding of the terms of your

Angela was so nice to meet and work with. You can tell she loves her children. We have MacKenzie, Eeyore from her photos. He is a little lover. When I played a video of Angela yesterday after MacKenzie had been with us for two weeks, he woke up from sleeping on my lap when he heard her call “children.” He remembers how good a “mom” he had when first growing up. Angela is NOT a puppy mill whatsoever. She gives each of her children personal attention and you can tell that in how they respond to her. We would highly recommend Angela if you are looking for a little love to steal your heart. MacKenzie did ours and he is our fourth Schnauzer.
