Meet the breeder

I'm Chasidy W., the breeder behind Gypsi Doodles & Poodles LLC. located in Herriman, UT. We are an in-home family breeder that focuses on health and temperament, not quantity or colors (our pups being gorgeous is just A+). Our dogs are loved and adored family members. Our litters are born and raised indoors. We do ENS, ESI, and follow the BAB curriculum. We here at Gypsi Doodles set you and your pup up for success. We handle our puppies daily. I sleep next to mama and pups the first 4 weeks of their life to ensure each pup is safe, thriving, and well taken care of. After those 4 weeks they are moved into their “toddler area” where we continue nurturing and stimulating them. We begin potty training at 3.5 weeks of age, and introduce the crate so puppies have an easier transition into their new home. Puppies will be well socialized and go home with a goody bag to help get you started. These puppies will be smart as a whip and will catch on to trainings quickly. Our puppies are raised to succeed and be great companions/family members.

Q. & A. with Chasidy

  • Why did you start breeding?

We had dabbled in owning dogs when my kids were much younger, and we could never find the right fit for our family. We had no idea what breed was good for a young family setting and had no idea what kind health and temperament played into owning a dog and having a good dog. Most breeders we came across couldn't even guide us in our puppy selections. Without that guidance of an ethical breeder, it led us to buying a puppy from a breeder that was dishonest and sold us a sick puppy. We had only had our beautiful Golden Retriever Sadie for 4 short days before finding out at our vet that she was very sick. She sadly passed away 4 weeks later from distemper. We did everything we could to save our puppy, spent thousands in vet fees, but she just wasn't strong enough to keep fighting. That experience was so gut wrenching for our young family. At that point with the struggles of finding good breeders and educating ourselves about dog breeds I decided I wanted to be a dog breeder. A good, ethical dog breeder, so other families didn't have to go through what we did. One that would help guide families to their perfect match, one that did health testing, one that had the time and patients to raise happy, healthy, well-rounded puppies. My passion for breeding came from a horrible experience we should have never encountered, but it has made me a better, more knowledgeable breeder, and for that I am grateful. Our pain was the driving force to becoming a responsible breeder.
  • What makes your program special?

We DNA health test, and OFA cert our breeding animals to help ensure we are breeding quality pets that will have happy, healthy long lives. We do ENS and ESI with our puppies to help jump start their brain and senses. We introduce new tactile, objects, courses, noises, and situations, so your puppies startle response is less, and they are braver exploring their new world. We set these puppies up for sucess!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Bernedoodle puppies are mini size. Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cavapoo puppies include merle, black and tan, white, red, blenheim, and apricot. Bernedoodle puppies include brown, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Poodle puppies include apricot, red, parti, and phantom. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Working with Chasidy from Gypsi Doodles & Poodles LLC was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. I flew to Utah to pick up our puppy, and she met me at the airport exactly when she said she would, which made everything seamless and stress-free. The whole transaction was smooth, professional, and well organized. We are completely obsessed with our puppy, Philip. He has the sweetest, most loving personality and has been the perfect addition to our family. You can truly tell how much care and love goes into raising her puppies. I would absolutely recommend Chasidy to anyone looking for a great breeder and an overall positive experience.

Chasidy was wonderful to work with. She always responded quickly to our questions and was extremely helpful in matching the puppy’s personality with what we hoped to find in a pet. Our girl Lexi showed the exact temperament that Chasidy described, and we are forever grateful we found our puppy from the Gypsi Doodles & Poodles breeding program.

Chasidy was the most knowledgable breeder out of all the ones I contacted. She had the genetic testing for my puppy's mom and dad which gave me a lot of comfort that I would be getting a healthy puppy. She was patient and responsive to the messages of a neurotic first time puppy mom. I highly recommend Chasidy of Gypsi Doodles & Poodles!

Bringing a dog into your home is always an exciting moment, and getting our pup from Chasidy was truly a wonderful experience! From the very first interaction, Chasidy was incredibly responsive and helpful, guiding us through the entire process with care and attention. Her dedication to understanding our family's needs made choosing the perfect companion so much easier. Being able to follow our pup growing up through her post allowed us to be apart of the full experience which you do not get otherwise. Once we met our furry friend, it was love at first sight! The joy that this dog has brought into our lives is immeasurable. Not only has our new family member filled our home with laughter and warmth, but they have also quickly become a loving part of our daily routines. We're so thankful for Chasidy's passion for breeding. Thanks to her our family feels more complete and we can't imagine life without our adorable pup!

Chasidy was wonderful to work with. She answered my many questions about the process. She arranged the flight nanny who took wonderful care of my puppy as she journeyed from UT to CA! My puppy, Willow, is the absolute best fit for me! She is smart, eager to learn, a cuddle-bug, and loves dogs, cats, and people. I am so grateful for my experience with Chasidy and Gypsi Doodles & Poodles.
