Meet the breeder

I'm Chasidy W., the breeder behind Gypsi Doodles & Poodles LLC. located in Herriman, UT. We are an in-home family breeder that focuses on health and temperament, not quantity or colors (our pups being gorgeous is just A+). Our dogs are loved and adored family members. Our litters are born and raised indoors. We do ENS, ESI, and follow the BAB curriculum. We here at Gypsi Doodles set you and your pup up for success. We handle our puppies daily. I sleep next to mama and pups the first 4 weeks of their life to ensure each pup is safe, thriving, and well taken care of. After those 4 weeks they are moved into their “toddler area” where we continue nurturing and stimulating them. We begin potty training at 3.5 weeks of age, and introduce the crate so puppies have an easier transition into their new home. Puppies will be well socialized and go home with a goody bag to help get you started. These puppies will be smart as a whip and will catch on to trainings quickly. Our puppies are raised to succeed and be great companions/family members.

Q. & A. with Chasidy

  • Why did you start breeding?

We had dabbled in owning dogs when my kids were much younger, and we could never find the right fit for our family. We had no idea what breed was good for a young family setting and had no idea what kind health and temperament played into owning a dog and having a good dog. Most breeders we came across couldn't even guide us in our puppy selections. Without that guidance of an ethical breeder, it led us to buying a puppy from a breeder that was dishonest and sold us a sick puppy. We had only had our beautiful Golden Retriever Sadie for 4 short days before finding out at our vet that she was very sick. She sadly passed away 4 weeks later from distemper. We did everything we could to save our puppy, spent thousands in vet fees, but she just wasn't strong enough to keep fighting. That experience was so gut wrenching for our young family. At that point with the struggles of finding good breeders and educating ourselves about dog breeds I decided I wanted to be a dog breeder. A good, ethical dog breeder, so other families didn't have to go through what we did. One that would help guide families to their perfect match, one that did health testing, one that had the time and patients to raise happy, healthy, well-rounded puppies. My passion for breeding came from a horrible experience we should have never encountered, but it has made me a better, more knowledgeable breeder, and for that I am grateful. Our pain was the driving force to becoming a responsible breeder.
  • What makes your program special?

We DNA health test, and OFA cert our breeding animals to help ensure we are breeding quality pets that will have happy, healthy long lives. We do ENS and ESI with our puppies to help jump start their brain and senses. We introduce new tactile, objects, courses, noises, and situations, so your puppies startle response is less, and they are braver exploring their new world. We set these puppies up for sucess!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Bernedoodle puppies are mini size. Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are chocolate. Bernedoodle puppies include brown, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Poodle puppies include apricot, red, parti, and phantom. Cavapoo puppies include merle, brown, chocolate, black and tan, white, red, blenheim, and apricot. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Working with Chasidy at Gypsi Doodles & Poodles was a great experience, highly recommend. She's very knowledgeable of her dogs and very responsive. I had been looking for a little bit for a puppy that would match with me and my other dogs. One day ran across Good Dog and saw a picture of Walter (Batman) and that was it; the eyebrows did me in. He's a funnest little spunky dog, doesn't run from the big dogs, and a cuddle bug at night. He's now 3-months (have had him for 6-weeks) and thriving.

Chasidy has made this process of finding the new puppy extremely smooth and supportive. I have wanted to add a sibling to my current 1.5 year old Maltipoo for a while now. I am so glad I found Chasidy! She was extremely responsive and patient with all my questions. She’s very knowledgeable. I am very grateful for the new addition to our family, Hana, a 3-month-old Cavapoo. The puppy is super smart! Thank you for the adorable, healthy puppy and thanks for all your support, Chasidy!

I can’t praise Chasidy more highly: our young male Cavapoo is everything we’d hoped for and more. Now he’s past 5 months and showing us some of his more adult personality, and I think that’s one of the most important points I can make: we wanted a smaller dog that would be affectionate, personable, and trainable, and our pup really lives up to the expectations of this cross-breed. Chasidy clearly made sure that the first 11 weeks of our puppy’s life were a great foundation for his temperament and behavior. He bonded with us right away, and while he’s still a puppy that does puppy things, he’s very responsive to correction and truly wants to please us. And receive treats, of course! I was extremely wary of the potential for fraud and misrepresentation in the puppy business, so it was with some relief that I found Good Dog and then Chasidy among the breeders. She stands out by providing in depth information and health screening on the sire and dam, and by having excellent and responsive communication during the entire process. I felt confident that all aspects of the transaction were valid, both as a consumer and as a hopeful puppy parent. It was great to have live FaceTime access to Chasidy and see our puppy before (and after) we bought him. Chasidy also worked with her local transporter (who was excellent!), making the entire process a simple and very positive experience. I highly recommend Chasidy and Gypsi Doodles.

We truly could not be happier with our experience with Chasidy or with our sweet Teddy! From the very beginning, Chasidy was wonderful to work with—responsive, knowledgeable, and clearly so loving and dedicated to her puppies. Teddy has been everything we could have hoped for and more. He is the sweetest, happiest little boy with the best personality. He is incredibly affectionate, playful, smart, and absolutely loves being with his family. He adjusted so well from the moment we brought him home and has brought us so much joy. And of course, he is absolutely adorable! He has grown into the cutest little teddy bear, and we constantly have people stopping us to ask about him or tell us how cute and sweet he is. It is so clear that Teddy was loved and well cared for before he ever came home to us, and we are incredibly grateful to Chasidy for giving us such a special little boy. We truly feel like Teddy was meant to be part of our family and would recommend Chasidy to anyone looking for their own perfect puppy! ❤️

I was looking around in Colorado for my first ever puppy - and Chasidy was the most hands on and responsive breeder I was reaching out to. My good friend lived a few minutes from her and was able to pick up Jamie and bring him to Colorado with her on a work trip- which helped alleviate a lot of stress on my end of potentially flying out to pic him up, or having a flight nanny (which she offers!) Finnie (Finley) is ridiculously smart - a huge help for a first time puppy owner- and was potty trained in 3 days (I got him at 9 weeks old). He LOVES salmon, smelling every flower he passes by, chilling on grass or the patio, and is so playful- he knows how to get my attention quickly and he is always having fun! He snuggles right up at night, and does well both in and out of the crate. He does not chew on anything but his toys- and even then he only gnaws. At 3 months he was able to be left home home for a few hours at a time and got into nothing and was happily sleeping in his open crate. I did not pee pad train him (he hates them) and I also did not play pen train him - I think it helped with him learning to not chew anything but his toys! Amazing temperament, so smart, and I could not have asked for a better first pup!!

Working with Chasidy from Gypsi Doodles & Poodles LLC was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. I flew to Utah to pick up our puppy, and she met me at the airport exactly when she said she would, which made everything seamless and stress-free. The whole transaction was smooth, professional, and well organized. We are completely obsessed with our puppy, Philip. He has the sweetest, most loving personality and has been the perfect addition to our family. You can truly tell how much care and love goes into raising her puppies. I would absolutely recommend Chasidy to anyone looking for a great breeder and an overall positive experience.
