I'm Jim and Sue H., the breeder behind Hales Angels Bulldogs located in Apple Valley, MN. We are Hall of Fame breeders with the Bulldog Club of America. Breeders of Merit with the AKC. We OFA test all of our dogs and have a health guarantee. We will not ship a puppy. You need to come to our home to pick it up.

Why did you start breeding?
When an accident put Jim in a wheel chair, he could no longer compete with my hunting dogs and so he acquired his first Bulldog Windsor. Now, many years and champions later we am breeding not only quality show dogs but healthy good tempered family pets.What makes your program special?
Here at Hales Angels one of our top priorities is breeding a well tempered dog. I know my bloodlines and will only breed to females who are well matched to my males in not only confirmation but temperament and health as well. My dogs are also very healthy living into their early to mid teens. While there are inherent health problems in Bulldogs we try to minimize them in ours.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, fawn, white, red and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Jim and Sue
Jim and Sue has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
“The price includes AKC registration, first set of shots, worming and microchip. You will have your puppy registered and microchip in your name when you leave our home. All of our puppies are sold for the same price. Deposit are non-refundable but will go to a puppy in the future. They are sold on a spay/neuter contract. Show puppies are available on a strict contract. The puppies are microchipped and are registered with the AKC.”

About Penny
Penny is a female Bulldog. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Jim and Sue decided to make her part of their program. Jim and Sue has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Parent health testing
Great level
Hales Angels Bulldogs reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Bulldogs.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Tracheal Hypoplasia
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
