Q. & A. with Heather
Why did you start breeding?
My husband and son, Grant developed terrible allergies. As avid dog lovers, it left us researching a breed, that was more allergy-friendly. After researching our options, we fell in love with the majestic beauty, gentle nature and regal elegance of the Australian Labradoodle. The minute we saw them it was love at first sight. So in 2001, our journey in breeding our beloved breed began.
What makes your program special?
We not only have amazing pooches in pet homes. We also have pooches working as therapy dogs and service dogs in the court systems, hospitals, schools, Dr. offices, Dental offices, Alzheimer’s homes, as well as in reading programs not only here in the US but around the world. Their trainability, loyalty and gentle nature are matched by no other. I have the first 4 CHIC certified dogs in the world.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include caramel ice, caramel cream, caramel, caramel red, red, apricot, cream, chalk, chocolate, cafe, black, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
