I'm Lisa H., the breeder behind Hales Little Beagle Haven located in Rogersville, MO. We breed high-quality 13-14” AKC or CKC beagle puppies. We are committed to producing well-bred, healthy puppies for loving homes. We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality puppies into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our beagles!

Why did you start breeding?
I had beagles as a teenager, then again as an adult, and find the breed so fun, quirky and challenging. I like to say, I'm not their boss, I'm their equal.What makes your program special?
My breeding parents are my own pets. If it isn’t good for them, then I won’t do it.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are 13-inch size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brown and white, blue tan and white, tan and white, black red and white, and lemon and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Lisa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes UTD shots, deworming, Microchip, AKC registration. Parents have been DNA and health tested by Embark. Non refundable to ensure seriousness of buyer and loss of other potential buyers. Deposit applies to total cost of the puppy.”

Program update on 22 Oct. •…At 3 1/2 weeks, we are trying the potty tray and puppy mush. It looks like maybe three pee pee spots on the potty tray and everyone is enjoying the water. The puppy food is soaked in. I count this as a win.

Working with Lisa has been nothing but great. The first time we spoke she was very friendly and showed us Flora when she was only two weeks old. After that we were in constant communication - she would share pictures and videos from Flora, her baby siblings, her parents and other friends. Lucy was from a litter that was released to go to forever homes in July, 2025. Communication was great with Lisa from Hales Little Beagle Haven through the adoption process. She was originally named Echo. But as soon as we decided on a name and informed Lisa; she immediately started referring to Lucy by her new name. Lisa provided videos and reminders to us all along the way. We met halfway for the handoff and Lisa gave us Lucy's shot records and AKC info along with helpful info for the car ride back. Our little Lucy is now 3 months old and has settled in nicely. Hasn't had a potty accident in the house in several days. And she and I and her doggy "dad" are in training to master all the basic commands and deal with puppy behavior. Lucy's great. We are so grateful to Lisa Hale for getting Lucy off to the best start possible.
