I'm Kelly V., the breeder behind Halo BerneDo located in Greenville, SC. We feed only non-GMO food and follow vet-recommended care. Puppies are trained in water safety, child socialization, and basic commands. We raise one litter a year, giving each pup organic baths, leash work, and love as if they’ll stay with us forever.
Q. & A. with Kelly
Why did you start breeding?
I began breeding in 2019 as a guardian home for a Labradoodle with Doodles Making a Difference. After witnessing the beauty of two litters, I felt called to continue the legacy. We retired our Labradoodle and carefully searched for a Bernedoodle with ideal genetics and a calm, loving temperament to build our program.
What makes your program special?
We only raise one litter per year, giving each puppy royal treatment. They’re bathed with organic products, trained to use a doggie doorbell, paddle board, and follow basic commands like sit, stay, and come. We also begin leash work early. Each pup is loved as if they’ll stay with us forever—because that’s how great companions begin.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

At four weeks old, our Christmas litter is beginning to show glimmers of their unique personalities! While much will continue to unfold in the coming weeks, we’re already seeing early traits that hint at who they’re becoming:
Some pups are already bold explorers, toddling toward new sounds and textures with curiosity.
Others are gentle observers, preferring to watch before joining in, often choosing a cozy sibling pile over solo adventures.
A few are showing signs of being people-focused snugglers, lighting up when we enter the room and melting into our arms during cuddle time.
We’ve got a couple of play initiators too—those who paw at their littermates or pounce on toys with early confidence and joy.
And then there are the balanced souls, who seem to adapt easily to whatever the moment brings—play, rest, or snuggles.

🎄 Vadamee’s Christmas Litter Has Arrived! 🎄
Born on October 15th, between 3:44 and 6:35 PM, Vadamee delivered eight beautiful puppies—each one a little miracle wrapped in fur.
We’ve named them after Santa’s sleigh team to honor their holiday debut:
• Dasher – bold and firstborn
• Comet – radiant with white-tipped paws
• Dancer – graceful gingerbread girl
• Donner – strong and steady
• Vixen – tiniest sugarplum sprite
• Cupid – gentle and loving
• Blitzen – proud with a snowy chest
• Prancer – elegant midnight girl
Each pup is healthy, cozy, and already showing their personality. Vadamee is resting well after her incredible work—she looked at the camera, gave us the “mom stare,” and promptly fell asleep. We captioned it:
“All I want for Christmas… is a nap.”
Stay tuned for bios, photos, and adoption updates. These pups are more than gifts—they’re testimonies of restoration, joy, and holiday magic.
