Getting a puppy from Stacy

Stacy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Your Halo Kennels puppy will arrive with their first round of vaccinations, deworming, and a pre-registered microchip. We believe every puppy is equally valuable; therefore, all our puppies are priced consistently, regardless of their sex, size, or coat color. Puppy selection operates on a first-come, first-served basis, secured by a confirmed deposit.”

Stacy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Golden Retriever 2, PRA, Golden Retriever 1

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Stacy was wonderful. I have never used gooddog before and was hesitant, but dont worry, you are in good hands with Stacy and Halo Kennels. 🤍 Stacy provided updates extremely quickly, was kind and informative, and you can tell that she socialized and loved on these babies a ton before they left her. She cares enough to want updates as they leave her, and has been responsive and helpful even after picking up our baby. She sent us home with a really cute and thoughtful bag full of stuff for our puppy and us as owners. 10/10 breeder, I HIGHLY recommend going with Halo Kennels!!
