Why did you start breeding?
We had such a hard time finding a dog for our family. We had several specific needs. We decided on Havanese and it took us two years! We decided to get into small scale breeding in order to provide quality dogs to families, who weren’t looking for show dogs or long pedigrees, but needed a good fit for a family. We breed for health, temperament, and ongoing support to families.What makes your program special?
We family raise in our home. Puppies are socialized from the moment they step out of the whelping crate. We crate train, potty train, do all the neurological training so provide excellent dogs for families. I remain available as a resource for questions and to help during the transition period and beyond.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Companion Cross puppies are small size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Getting a puppy from Jana
Jana has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 deposit and between $800 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“This price includes first vet visits, up to date vaccinations, puppy crate training and potty training, regular bathing and grooming up to the time they go to their new home. Generally non refundable. This guarantees the puppy of your choice and will be counted toward the price of your puppy. I do not ask for a deposit until you are sure.”
Contract & health guarantee
Jana may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Sugar
Sugar is a purebred Maltese and such a fun little dog! She is higher energy than Pancake, but I would not describe her as a "high energy dog." She is our dominant female and is very curious when we are doing anything, and wants to be right with us when we're cleaning, organizing, gardening, everything. She loves being in the kitchen when I'm cooking or preparing any food, and she always knows when I'm cooking for her! We have fed home cooked food for our dogs for over a year now. She is a wonderful mama dog and nurses her puppies to 8 weeks and often beyond. We are sure to feed her very well so her milk production is on par and her natural instincts to protect and nurture her babies are strong.

About Pancake
Pancake is a wonderful dog. He is very relaxed, gets to know people quickly and behaves well around them. He loves to play fetch and adapts easily to new people and situations. As a purebred Havanese, Pancake has the hypoallergenic and non-shedding coat that all pure-bred havanese dogs do. He is an anxiety companion animal for my oldest daughter.

Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
