I'm Takeisha P., the breeder behind Happy Bulldog Kennel located in Baton Rouge, LA. We responsibly breed, raise, and socialize healthy pups so others can enjoy the gift of living life with a Bulldog! It’s important to us that we continue to improve our program and share our knowledge with our buyer families. We want to better the breed through thorough health testing and selective breeding decisions.

    I started breeding English Bulldogs because I wanted to share the unconditional love and joy that these amazing dogs bring to my family with others.
  • What makes your program special?

    What makes my breeding program special, is because all of my babies comes from a nurturing and loving home with tons of socialization with both kids and other dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Takeisha

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming, and puppy socialization. All of our puppies deposits are the same price regardless of gender, color or size.”

Contract & health guarantee

Takeisha may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
