I'm Shannon C., the breeder behind Happy Paws Havanese located in Chaska, MN. I've been showing Havanese in AKC for over 20 years. I'm a member of our local Havanese club. My puppy parents are OFA health tested, and DNA tested. My puppies are raised in my living room and are socialized with my kids, as well as adults and other dogs. I specialize in all Havanese colors!

I'm a stay-at-home mom, so my focus and passion is raising human and furry children. I have extensive knowledge in breed health and structure as well as genetics, training, socializing, and personality development.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and white, white, cream, gold, red, chocolate, silver sable, red sable, gold brindle, fawn sable, red brindle, gold sable, fawn, chocolate sable, black brindle, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI), Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation , Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
