Meet the breeder

I'm Joanne S., the breeder behind Happy Tail Companions located in The Villages, FL. As a dedicated Havanese breeder, I’ve spent years raising these wonderful, affectionate dogs with love and care, ensuring they bring joy to families. Due to my retirement and an upcoming move to a new home with a three-pet limit, I’m faced with the difficult decision to find new forever homes for most of my beloved Havanese. This choice comes from a place of deep care, as I want each dog to continue living a life filled with the love, attention, and happiness they deserve. My Havanese are well-socialized, healthy, and raised in a home environment. They are all loving, loyal companions and each has a unique personality that I’d love to share with you to find the perfect match. I’m committed to ensuring they go to families who will cherish them as much as I have, providing a safe, loving, and stable home for the rest of their lives. If you’re interested in adopting one of these special dogs, please reach out to discuss their needs, your home environment, and how we can ensure a smooth transition. I’m happy to provide health records, answer any questions, and arrange meet-and-greets to find the right fit. My goal is to place each dog in a home where they’ll thrive and be loved unconditionally. Thank you for considering giving one of my Havanese a forever home.

We focus a great deal on temperament, training and early socialization. We want all of our puppies to go their new homes ready to succeed. We are also planning to retire all of our adult dogs with seniors as emotional support dogs.
