I'm Linda N., the breeder behind Happy Tails Labradoodles located in Raleigh, NC. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. We strive to multi-generational Australian Labradoodles blending the best qualities of the Poodle with that of the Labrador to better this incredible breed. We hope our dogs bring you as much joy as they have brought us. It would be our pleasure to help you find the dog of your dreams!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I fell in love immediately with the Australian labradoodle! Initially I was a guardian home. I helped another breeder from time to time and realized how much I loved it. It’s always a joy seeing puppies come into this world and see how develop and grow.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are a small home based breeder. I take pride in caring for each puppy as if he/she were the only one I have. When my puppies are ready for their forever homes, they are crate trained and well on their way with potty training. They are well socialized and up on vaccinations.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include caramel, red, apricot, cream, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Happy Tails require a 500.00 deposit to reserve a puppy and be placed on the waitlist. If your desired puppy isn’t within the reserved litter, you’ll be placed on the next upcoming litter.”

  • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
