Q. & A. with Marcia
Why did you start breeding?
We adopted our first Australian Labradoodle because some in our family have allergies. We fell in love with our puppy and the breed.
I have always wanted to have a litter of puppies but I wanted to do it ethically. Once we had our first Australian Labradoodle, I knew this was what I wanted to do. I flew to Florida to get our female from WALA's President and breeder. She helped me get started.
What makes your program special?
Because we are both biologists, we understand the impact genetics play on the health of dogs. We also understand how Early Neural Stimulation and Scent Stimulation contribute to neural growth, thus giving the puppy many advantages as it grows into an adult. Appropriately timed exposure during each developmental stage helps the pup be the best adult it can: confident, stable, healthy, and happy.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include caramel ice, red, apricot, cream, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
