Jen N.

Breeder of Great Danes

Meet the breeder

I'm Jen N., the breeder behind Harbinger Great Danes located in Marietta, OH. Our dogs are members of our family. They live with us in our home and frequently go out and about with us. We breed for structure, health, and temperament first and foremost. Our program is just beginning; all of our dogs were carefully selected from trusted breeders and raised in our home to begin our program in therapy and mobility dogs, as well as outstanding family pets.

Q. & A. with Jen

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was a breeder 20+ years ago. After a hiatus, I decided to begin again to meet specific needs for therapy animals, focusing on mental health awareness of our First Responders and Veterans.
  • What makes your program special?

Structure, temperament, health, and purpose of our animals. We have multiple dogs in training for certification and titling in various disciplines. We do have dogs in our program of alternative color, as well as standard. All dogs are AKC registered, and working on being fully health tested and titled. All puppies are temperament tested to ensure the best fit with new families.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include mantle merle, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
