Today we said goodbye to sweet Tulip. 🌷 As Bindi's final litter, Tulip has held an extra special place in our hearts. While we will miss her dearly, our hearts are full knowing she is beginning her next chapter with a wonderful family who already loves her so much. As we close this chapter, we are also celebrating Bindi's incredible journey as a mother. She has given us beautiful puppies, cherished memories, and the foundation of what Harpers Ferry Doodles has become. We are so grateful for everything she has given to our program. With Bindi now retired, there will be a pause before our next litter arrives. But the future is bright! Bindi's daughters, Queenie and Honey, will carry on her legacy, and we are excitedly looking ahead to welcoming the next generation of Harpers Ferry Doodles in 2027. Thank you to everyone who has followed along on Tulip's journey. We can't wait to share what comes next!

Tulip's big sisters are hard at work helping prepare her take-home blanket. 🐾 A blanket filled with familiar scents can provide comfort and security during the transition to a new home. Tulip's blanket will be packed with the smells of the family she has known since birth. It's a simple way to make her first few nights in her new home a little easier.

🌷 7 Weeks Old Today! 🌷 How is our sweet Tulip already 7 weeks old? The past seven weeks have flown by, and it has been such a joy watching this little girl grow from a tiny newborn into the confident, playful, and affectionate puppy she is today. From her first wobbly steps to zooming around the puppy room with her tail wagging, she has filled every day with smiles. We're going to soak up every cuddle, every puppy kiss, and every moment with this special girl before she begins her next adventure!

One of the coolest things about dogs is that they can identify family members by scent. Their incredible noses allow them to recognize familiar relatives, even after time apart. Tulip is one lucky pup with two big sisters that absolutely adore her. 💕

At 5 weeks old, Tulip is becoming a busy little puppy! She is growing more confident and curious every day, always eager to explore the world around her. One of her favorite parts of the day is playtime with her big sister, Honey. At 8 months old, Honey is still very much a puppy herself and absolutely adores playing with little Tulip. These daily interactions are not only adorable to watch, but they also help Tulip learn important canine social skills, including body language, communication, and good puppy manners.

4 weeks old today! 🐾 Tulip is becoming more playful, coordinated, and confident every single day. What started as wobbly little steps has quickly turned into bouncing, pouncing, tail wags, and exploring everything around her. This week she’ll continue expanding her play area and becoming even more social and curious about the world around her. We also can’t believe our time with her is already halfway over. These weeks go by so incredibly fast!

Tulip’s teeth are officially in! 🐾 That means it’s time for puppy mush. Puppy mush is a mixture of puppy formula and ground puppy kibble, and it always comes with messy paws, messy faces, and full little bellies. This is the beginning of the gradual weaning process and another big milestone for sweet Tulip as she learns new skills and continues to grow.

Tulip is 3 weeks old today! 🌷 Time is flying by with this sweet girl, and this week brings some exciting milestones. Her tiny teeth are starting to come in, which means she’ll soon get her very first taste of puppy mush! At this age, puppies also naturally begin learning the difference between their sleeping space and potty area — and Tulip is already using her potty trays like a little pro. We’re so proud of how smart and confident she’s becoming already. 💕

Nikki was a dream to work with! She answered all questions promptly, honestly, and thoroughly. From our first connection to pickup (and beyond!), she has been very responsive and caring. Hazel (formerly Cinnamon) is a sweet fluffball who was clearly well socialized and cared for by Nikki! I would work with her again.

My family (and friends and neighbors) are in love with our pup from Harper’s Ferry Doodles’ Autumn Harvest litter. We enjoyed keeping up with the litter’s development through Nikki’s photos and videos. Nikki welcomed all our questions and provided really helpful guidance as we prepared for our first puppy. Bindi and Cooper make beautiful puppies, and Nikki’s early development methods resulted in a pup who is confident and ready to learn. He took to his crate immediately and is highly responsive to the basic training we’ve started so far. We look forward to many happy years ahead bonding with our boy!

Nikki and her family did such an amazing job with the puppies! We ended up bringing Cider home, and I have to say, she’s been such an amazing addition to our family. Nikki was very thoughtful throughout the entire process as well sharing a myriad of awesome photos, videos, and updates right up to adoption day. I would 120% recommend her for your next Bernedoodle!!!

Nikki and Harpers Ferry Doodles made it extremely easy and possible to meet and adopt our new puppy, Arthur! She was extremely friendly, responsive, and attentive to our needs. It was a blast meeting all the puppies and taking Arthur home with us. He has already settled in and become best friends with our other dog, Zoe. We are still in the midst of house training him and getting him up to date with his vaccinations before taking him outside. We cannot wait to watch Arthur grow into a big loveable dog!

My family and I had a wonderful experience purchasing our puppy from Harpers Ferry Doodles. From start to finish, it was clear they are a loving, family-oriented breeder who genuinely cares about the well-being of their puppies. Their puppies are raised in a home environment, which made a huge difference in their socialization and temperament. Nikki went above and beyond by introducing the puppies to new sounds and experiences, which made the transition to our home that much easier. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Nikki was always quick to respond to my questions, offering helpful and detailed answers. It was reassuring to know I could reach out at any time for guidance or support. Overall, I highly recommend Harpers Ferry Doodles to anyone looking for a well-socialized, healthy, and loved bernedoodle. Our new puppy, Poppy (FKA Cookie), is such a fun addition to our family, and I’m grateful for the positive experience! The Good Dog app made this process a sinch. I was a skeptic of this platform after reading reviews but all said and done, I can’t say enough good things about the app! The app is incredibly user-friendly, and it’s packed with helpful features that made the entire process seamless and stress-free. From finding reputable breeders to connecting with them directly, every step felt organized and transparent. I could easily view breeder profiles, read reviews from other dog owners, and even find helpful resources about dog care. It was instrumental in helping me find a trustworthy breeder who raised happy and healthy puppies.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
