Harpers Goldendoodles on the Hill

Maria M.

Breeder of Goldendoodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Maria M., the breeder behind Harpers Goldendoodles on the Hill located in Weaverville, NC. My dogs are raised in a loving home with plenty of socialization from my three sons! My breeding program focuses on raising healthy pups. We pride ourselves on utilizing DNA testing, and we responsibly train and socialize our pups so that they become a beloved member of their new furever home! I have owned many types of dogs, but I can honestly say there is something special about Doodles!

Q. & A. with Maria

  • Why did you start breeding?

I originally convinced my aunt to get her first Doodle, and once she got her Stella, I was in love! I immediately wanted a Doodle myself! My husband surprised me with our first Doodle, and then I got my second Doodle from my aunt! I have helped with her breeding program and have grown such a desire to share these precious types of dogs with others!
  • What makes your program special?

My program focuses on providing the healthiest puppies that we can. We incorporate not only socialization and lots of love for the puppies, but also include Puppy Culture training, crate training, vaccinations, a vet visit, and deworming. Doodles are a passion of mine, and I am devoted to doing whatever I can to preserve, protect, and improve this incredible breed!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
