I'm Debra Z., the breeder behind Harvestime Goldens located in Menasha, WI. We are a professional kennel located in Northeast Wisconsin that specializes in Golden Retrievers. We have five kennel locations, operated by my children, across the country. Kennels are located in Bozeman MT, Minneapolis MN, and Lakewood WI, and my Primary Kennel is in Menasha WI.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our family has been involved with Goldens since 1989. Our family has competed in Obedience, Conformation, and Rally for the past 20 years.
  • What makes your program special?

    Golden Retrievers from Harvestime Kennel are bred from top show and performance lines. Our pedigrees are 75% Champion and 100% Kennel Lines. Our top quality pups come from years of knowledgeable breeders breeding Golden Retrievers that should be bred. We are a recognized AKC Breeder of Merit and are active in many clubs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Debra

Debra has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 refundable deposit and $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“In order to have an accurate reservation list, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit, due within 30 days, to stay on the reservation list. An additional $200 is due within a week of the litter being born and reserving a puppy. An additional $200 is due within a week of the litter being born and reserving a puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Debra may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
