I'm Shiann H., the breeder behind Hathhorn Family Goldens located in Hubert, NC. We are breeding to improve the breed of Golden Retrievers, with a focus on health and temperament. All of our furry family members are OFA tested, vetted regularly, and get all the love. We care about the breed and do everything in our power to breed sound dogs to ensure healthy and happy puppies. Our puppies’ health and wellbeing is our main priority.

Why did you start breeding?
We love the Golden Retriever breed. Our dogs have brought us so much joy and happiness that we wanted to give back to them by producing the highest quality dogs and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families. Our goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that Goldens will continue to thrive for generations to come.What makes your program special?
At Hathhorn Family Goldens, we produce excellent companions. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. All of our puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors to produce happy, healthy pets who are great companions for individuals and families alike.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Shiann
Shiann has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $550 non-refundable deposit and between $1,150 - $1,950 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“It also includes AKC papers, shots, dewormer, microchip, small kennel, toys, notarized contract, blanket with mom's scent, and AKC puppy packet. . All puppy deposits are non-refundable but can be transferable one time to the next upcoming litter.”

Shiann may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
