I'm Jackie H., the breeder behind Hatten Homestead Kennels located in Marion County, OH. Our dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of the family. We prepare all of our pups to excel in life! We consider all of them members of our family, and we give each dog and puppy all the attention and care that they require to live happy and healthy lives. We're dedicated to providing each of our puppies with loving and caring forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
We really value the connections we form with our buyers and love to continue to watch our puppies grow up through their eyes. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and we are so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals!What makes your program special?
We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with DNA and OFA testing, with good temperaments, and daily care. Placing them in loving homes with wonderful families is a high priority. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Jackie was very responsive and answered all of my questions I had. She took time to send me videos and pics of the pups outside of what was posted online. She offered to meet us halfway the day we agreed to meet, which was very helpful! Faith came with a goodie bag which had the microchip info, shot records, and a blanket with her mom's scent, which was great for the first night in her new home. Faith has been a great addition to our home and doing well with potty training / crate training. We had a great experience with good dog and Jackie!
