Just me and my 6 Havanese at this time. Pups have all gone to their new homes and are doing well. Three litters left for their new homes starting in April and all pups home the end of March. Some of the pups are almost housebroken. I start the pup using the BrillantPad system (potty pan) at about 5 weeks old that makes housebreaking fairly easy. Were taken the summer off with planned vacation between litters. No pups expected until August which will make them ready to leave in October. Phoebe and Carter are the expected parents.

About Carter
Friendly dog that lives as part of the family. Very loving. Excellent breeder. Carter is CHIC certified including genetic testing.
Excellent health testing
Havanese
About Christopher
Christopher is a black with white markings and wavy hair. This is his first litter. His genetic panel was Embark was clear of all tests. It’s December and Christopher is off to the trainer. My litter Piper is upset since they’re pals and just mops around. Hopefully Christopher is adjust better than Piper. Around March he will be getting his hips and elbows evaluated. Christopher is a small Havanese and a little shy but comes out of his shyness once he decides the visitor is harmless.
Havanese

I can’t imagine a more caring, competent and responsive breeder than Terri. I was fortunate to find her when her last available puppy was only 3 days old—her puppies are reserved very quickly. I initially trusted Terri because she is a registered nurse with 40 years of experience as a dog breeder, her pups stay with their mom & siblings until they are 10 weeks old, her breeder dogs live as members of the family, and she prefers to meet the families who will give her pups a home. Terri sent me frequent texts and videos from my little one’s birth until the day she came home with me. She promptly & thoroughly answered my many questions during that time —and she still does! With everyone’s agreement, Terri put the litter’s future pup parents in touch. It’s been helpful & fun to share ideas & experiences. Terri gave us all many visual tips on physical setups to prepare, products to use & techniques for caring for our new family members. She even got the pups started on potty training! The quantity of supplies she sent us home with was amazing. Along with a blanket & SnugglePuppy to comfort a freshly-bathed pup, she included food, toys, harness, leash, outerwear, grooming supplies, vet records & written information. Working with Terri was such a rewarding experience. She gave my happy, healthy little girl a wonderful start!

It was great working with Terri. She was in constant communication with us as we waiting to pick up our puppy. Terri sent videos and photos of our puppy. We were able to meet our puppy prior to pick up so we could get to know her. Terri answered all of my questions and provided a valuable care package at time of pick up. We loved our experience and our new puppy so much that we want another puppy from a future litter.

Terri was wonderful throughout the process of getting our new furry family member! She is very passionate about her puppies and wants to ensure that new puppy parents are well equipped for their puppy. She was very responsive and easy to work with. She checked in regularly before and after we brought our puppy home. Stella is a great addition to our family and her personality is exactly how Terri described!

Working with Terri was absolutely amazing. My family had been looking for a dog for over a year, but I would only purchase a dog if the breeder did genetic testing on the puppy parents, and this isn’t common practice, Terri is one of the few breeders that actually does this. After getting our dog, Terri gave us the most amazing take home package, she included a ton of food, shampoo, toys, literally anything you can think of we went home with. She connected me with our puppies siblings, so now we talk regularly which is so nice. Any question I have about anything, Terri responds with so quickly. Buying a new dog can be very scary, but it’s so much less scary when you deal with a breeder who does the correct testing and who supports you even after the dog goes home with you. Will never use another breeder other than Terri

Working with Terri was very easy. Although we're experienced Havanese owners, we still had some questions as it'd been a while since we had a puppy. Terri patiently answered all our questions, offered great advice and took the time to understand our family and habits. Her dogs are healthy and friendly, her home clean (how she does that with 2 litters of pups is something!). We've had our pup for over a week now and he does very well with potty training. He's alert, friendly, playful, curious about everyone and everything. Not a mean streak in him at all. He adores our older Havanese - follows her everywhere! All in all, Terri was a joy to work with and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a healthy, quality Havanese puppy.

Terri’s Havanese of Claverack has been one of the best breeder that I have connected with till date. She was amazing from the start till date. Allowed us to independently select the litters n gave us all transparency of the process and updates through out the 2 months wait. We could not wait to visit the pup and I was amazed at her structured process of letting visitors to meet the puppy only post 6 weeks. Additionally, when we went to meet the pups, we looked at how she takes care of the mother and dad Havanese and they were wel maintained. Our Pup Argus was the tiny one amongst the other litters and while I was a bit afraid If he could become strong, as I understand he was a bit timid amongst the others. Trust me he is a rockstar now. We got him home when he was 10 weeks and I can’t express my satisfaction and love for the tiny one. He is intelligent, does not fuzz around sleeping time and came home almost fully potty trained. Terri continues to guide me as Argus grows and we want to keep up the engagement throughout Argus life journey. The other pet parents are equally excited to keep the connect as well. One of the best choice I made. My kid and my family loves Argus and we will look forward to exploring future interest through Terri as well.
