Havanese on the Hill

Margie D.

Breeder of Havanese

Meet the breeder

I'm Margie D., the breeder behind Havanese on the Hill located in Kerrville, TX. Our hope is to prepare puppies to have the best foundation to seamlessly transition into their new homes. All of our puppies are raised in a safely indoors atmosphere with outside visits in a contained astroturf area starting at six weeks. https://havaneseonthehill.my.canva.site/.

Q. & A. with Margie

  • Why did you start breeding?

A dear friend of mine is a breeder and mentor of mine. She allowed me to purchase our side, Dodge, with breeding rights and here we’re are, with our premiere litter!
  • What makes your program special?

We give our pups lots of love. They are kept indoors entirely until 6 weeks, when we gradually introduce them to the outside in a small pen on artificial grass. We don’t overbreed and have no plans to do so. We will travel at reasonable rates to deliver the pups!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
