I'm Rachelle O., the breeder behind Havanese Puppies of Austin Texas located in Austin, TX. We find so much fulfillment in providing canine companionship to others! Our puppies have a championship bloodline, and we raise them in our home alongside our family. We love being able to match our puppies with owners that are the perfect fit for their personalities.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    The breeders of our Celia begged us to breed her! Due the couple's advanced age, it was their last litter. However, they knew Celia would be a wonderful mom. They mentored us and got us started on this journey. We will be forever grateful because Celia LOVES being a mom and we are so glad we didn't take that option away from her.

  • What makes your program special?

    My fur babies and grand fur babies are my pride and joy. They many of them are training to become therapy dogs and service dogs, which is truly special. I don't consider breeding and training a hobby but a vocation and dedicate an inordinate amount of time and resources into our pups' wellbeing. We cannot wait for our adoptive children to come home and participate in this special experience.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are chocolate sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We do ENS, ENI, desensitization, socialization, early potty training and crate training, vaccines, deworming, and vet check with each puppy. Each puppy can be registered with AKC and comes with a welcome kit and bill of sale. Per temperament, the dam, Celia, has her CGC & Tricks titles and we are going for Urban CGC & therapy dog titles. The sire, Pitbull, is in his CGC prep class as we speak. Eneas, a pup from their last litter, is in training to be a service dog. Puppies can be reserved with a $200 deposit that goes towards the price of the puppy.”
