I'm Cristi A., the breeder behind HavaReese Havanese located in Charlotte, NC. We’re thrilled to share that HavaReese will be breeding in North Carolina to bring our beloved Havanese pups to even more homes.   • Why did you start breeding?

    We had a hard time finding a breeder which shared our same philosophy. It took us years to find the our Dams and Sire. We made the decision to learn as much as possible and start breeding these little nuggets of joy ourselves. So grateful we did! They are an extension of our family and loved so very much.

  • What makes your program special?

    We raise them for pets and companions, and start socializing and handling them as soon as they are born.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include white, red, chocolate, black, red sable, red brindle, black brindle, fawn, black and tan brindle, black and tan, and chocolate brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Cristi

Cristi has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Litter is AKC registered (PET), deworming, up to date vaccines, vet health check, health certificate, microchipped, 1 month of pet insurance & puppy swag bag. Deposits reserve a puppy or your spot on the waitlist. Puppy picks are made in the order deposits are received. If pregnancy is not confirmed, the reservation fee/deposit will transfer to the next litter's waitlist. Deposits are $500.”

Contract & health guarantee

Cristi may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
