I'm Sandra H., the breeder behind Haven of Free Spirits located in Fairborn, OH. I am a member of Breed with heart through AKC. My priority is to ensure the well-being of all dogs from birth until they leave with their forever family and beyond. As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of my puppies. I make sure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes. I look forward to connecting!

Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs and was excited to establish my breeding program. I have enjoyed the journey, and I am a proud breeder with a focus on temperament and the overall mental and physical health of my puppies. I am passionate about placing happy, healthy puppies with loving families. All of my pups receive puppy culture, ENS training. As all pups learn on different levels most know basic commands, some pups move on to more advanced levels. All of my puppies are loved and played with daily. All training I do is after they are loved on, brushed, played with. I do not train with treats as my training program start from the day they are born. All pups receive treats when they reach age appropriate for treats. (6 wks) I only treat after training session is over. I find that this program helps when your in public and may not have treats. Puppies accept praise, and belly rubs as rewards for good behavior, & listening to commands as that is all they can receive at a early age. All dogs want from their owners is love and praise, treats last a seconds or minute where loving on your pup last a life time.What makes your program special?

Getting a puppy from Sandra
Sandra has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
"All my pups receive puppy culture, ENS & introduced to basic training commands. Most leave knowing sit, down, place ect. AKC registration application, vet records and certificate of health, Micro chipped (AKC reunite) dewormed 2,4,6,8 weeks of age. Grooming on nails weekly, brushed daily, teeth brushed daily starting at 3 weeks of age. They all go to new families with a goody bag which has their vet records, AKC paper work, birth certificate with paw print, starter food, healthy treats, & toys. I don’t send litter or mom scented blankets as I think that makes more stress on the pups (they smell them but can’t find them) instead I recommend putting in a shirt with new owner scent as that is what they need to get use to. There is a Non-refundable $100 deposit to be placed on the waiting list of the planned pairing. When that litter is born & you chose your pup the remaining 400.00 non refundable deposit is due. All non refundable deposits goes towards the total cost of the puppy. The remaining balance is due before pick up date. If pup is picked when it’s born the full deposit is due at time of picking a puppy. If puppy is already 8 wks payment in full is available. I do not transfer deposits to another litter without prior agreement made, or special circumstances."

Litter update on 07 Dec 2025 •…Colt has been busy at 3 months he did his 1st show at the IABCA International show he won 1st place & Best of Breed every show but 1, he won 5 group 1 won 2 group 2 then went on to win best in show reserve both days. Earned his International, National & Honors Champion puppy title. I a very proud of this baby.

Litter update on 06 Dec 2025 •…Meeka is a very sweet girl, crate and fully potty trained. She was returned due to her family could not take care of her anymore. She has her CGC & trained on basics. Meeka will be 2 yrs old on April 23, 2026 she just got all her yearly shots in September. She is from the litter of Moon & Blitz 4/23/24

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Sandi was amazing! She was very thorough about the husky breeds she raises as well as sharing training information. Stays in contact with the buyer and always available for any questions or concerns a new owner my have. Her breeding history is outstanding as well as the location of where she raises these beautiful pups. Parents are just as gorgeous and very well kept. Just seeing the parents and there personalities and demeanor onsite or anytime you ask for pictures or videos there is no doubt and you feel so relieved when buying from her. This was my first time along with my boyfriend getting our first pup together. We wanted someone who was knowledgeable, passionate, and cared about the pups. Sandi and her husband Ron have been absolutely wonderful. Anytime I had a question it was answered immediately or later the same day.
