I'm Sandra H., the breeder behind Haven’s Siberians located in Fairborn, OH. I am a member of Breed with heart through AKC. My priority is to ensure the well-being of all dogs from birth until they leave with their forever family and beyond. As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of my puppies. I make sure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes. I look forward to connecting!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always loved dogs and was excited to establish my breeding program with the Siberian Husky’s. I have enjoyed the journey, and I am a proud breeder with a focus on temperament and the overall mental and physical health of my puppies. I am passionate about placing happy, healthy puppies with loving families. All of my pups receive puppy culture, ENS training. As all pups learn on different levels most know basic commands, some pups move on to more advanced levels. All of my puppies are loved and played with daily. All training I do is after they are loved on, brushed, played with. I do not train with treats as my training program start from the day they are born. All pups receive treats when they reach age appropriate for treats. (6 wks) I only treat after training session is over. I find that this program helps when you’re in public and may not have treats. Puppies accept praise, and belly rubs as rewards for good behavior, & listening to commands as that is all they can receive at an early age. All dogs want from their owners is love and praise, treats last a seconds or minute where loving on your pup last a life time.

    My commitment to the health and breed standards. I provide you with a professional and friendly puppy-buying experience, and that includes always having responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming my puppies. I can't wait to help you in your puppy search!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red and white, gray and white, black tan and white, black and white, agouti and white, white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sandra

Sandra has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Sandra partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We like to let people watch pups on FaceTime, FB lives or in videos. They can see them and watch them grow & see personalities. If the litter of pups are pet homes only then we allow picks. If we are keeping for a show prospect we do evaluations on pups before anyone can pick their pup. Evaluations are at 8 weeks old. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit that secures a spot in a litter. The remaining $1,300 - $2,500 is due before pickup, plus applicable taxes and fees.

“All my pups receive puppy culture, ENS & introduced to basic training commands. Most leave knowing sit, house manners, noise/sound desensitized, they are introduced to multiple surfaces, they sleep to thunderstorms nightly. AKC registration application, vet records and certificate of health, Micro chipped (AKC reunite) dewormed 2,4,6,8 weeks of age. Grooming on nails weekly, brushed daily, teeth brushed daily starting at 3 weeks of age. They all go to new families with a goody bag which has their vet records, AKC paper work, birth certificate with paw print, starter food, healthy treats, & toys. I don’t send litter or mom scented blankets as I think that makes more stress on the pups (they smell them but can’t find them) instead I recommend putting in a shirt with new owner scent as that is what they need to get use to. There is a Non-refundable $500 non refundable deposit is due. All non refundable deposits goes towards the total cost of the puppy. The remaining balance is due 1 week before pick up date so payment has time to clear the bank. If puppy is already 8 wks payment in full for puppy is due. I do not transfer non refundable deposits to another litter without prior agreement made, or special circumstances.”

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

    Sandra and her husband were great to work with. You can really tell she cares about each puppy and the experience of handing them off to their new homes.
