Q. & A. with Sandi
Why did you start breeding?
I bought 2 breeding bitches and have trained and titled them and have decided I would like to better the breed. What makes your program special?
This is a learning process and the most important thing for me is to give the puppies the best start in life. Parents are genetic tested through Embark to ensure not to pass bad genes along with OFA for both hips and elbow. Puppies are fully vaccinated, microchipped and de wormed. For the time they are nursing I am very careful to have puppies on a special rug to ensure that while they push with their hind legs they are not jeopardizing the hip joints. They are properly socialized (once vaccinated). I have al sorts of thing to introduce them to textures on their feet and bodies. I work alot with their feet and clip nails weekly so they are used to the process of nail clipping. What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have plush coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs. What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
