Meet the breeder

I'm Naomi W., the breeder behind Hearthstone Springers located in Davenport, IA. Active outdoor family raising field-bred English Springer Spaniels in Davenport, Iowa. Our program focuses on health, temperament, athleticism, and versatile dogs that thrive in active homes, sporting environments, and alongside their people.

Q. & A. with Naomi

  • Why did you start breeding?

My female Springer showed me the incredible athleticism, intelligence, versatility, and companionship this breed is capable of. Watching her thrive outdoors, in water, and alongside our active lifestyle inspired me to thoughtfully preserve those qualities through intentional breeding and early development.
  • What makes your program special?

My puppies are raised in-home with daily handling, Early Neurological Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction, structured socialization, sound exposure, confidence-building, and enrichment. I combine proven field genetics with intentional early development and carefully match each puppy to homes based on temperament, lifestyle, and long-term compatibility.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white and liver and liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
