Meet the breeder

I'm Rosemarie D., the breeder behind Heartland Creams Golden Retrievers located in Pendleton, IN. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! When we got our first dog, we were instantly in love. Since then, we’ve made it our mission to bring happy, healthy puppies into the lives of other families!

Q. & A. with Rosemarie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I fell in love with Goldens and wanted to improve the breed, beginning with removing Ichthyosis from our bloodlines
  • What makes your program special?

All our puppies are home-raised and well-socialized. We incorporate ENS, ESD, sound exposure, extra socialization, and plenty of human contact. From day one, we connect our puppies with their new families by sharing photos, videos, and daily updates from the moment they are born until they go to their new homes. We genetically test our breeding pairs and certify all of them with Penn Hip and OFA.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
