Meet the breeder

I'm Delisa C., the breeder behind HeartSong Huskies located in Acton, CA. HeartSong Huskies has been raising and training dogs for 30 years, we have been focusing on Siberian Huskies for the last 10 years. Our woolly Siberians are Embark DNA tested with Eyes, Elbows and Hips Tested/Evaluated by OFA. All males have AKC registered DNA.

Q. & A. with Delisa

  • Why did you start breeding?

My family has always had dogs. My parents and I raised Shelties for years, when my son got out of the military he no longer had a house to take care of his Siberian Husky he asked me if I would take care of him until he could, and that was it. I was hooked and now I train and raise Siberians!
  • What makes your program special?

I train dogs for TV and movies. Temperment is a focus for my program. I have to have dogs that are smart and friendly with people and most importantly other dogs. You can see my pups in the Disney TV series Bunk’d and in commercials for GMC, PetSmart and on dog food packaging.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
