I'm Heather N., the breeder behind Heather's Love4Poodles located in Round Lake, IL. All of our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by children and other pets—including dogs of all sizes and cats—so they grow up well-socialized and confident. We produce only two litters per year, allowing us to give each puppy the attention and care they deserve. All of our parent dogs are fully health-tested. I breed under the mentorship of a trusted friend who has over 30 years of breeding experience.

Why did you start breeding?
I began breeding in 2021 after retiring as a labor and delivery nurse. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same love extends to animals and their well-being. I was fortunate to be mentored by a close friend who is an experienced breeder, first working alongside her and starting as a guardian home. That guidance helped shape the values and practices I carry today.
What makes your program special?
My breeding program is intentionally limited to one to two litters per year, allowing each mother and puppy to receive individualized care, attention, and support. All puppies are raised in our home as part of the family and are carefully socialized with children, cats, and other dogs. This nurturing environment helps them develop into healthy, confident, and well-adjusted companions.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, brown, cream, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Heather

Heather has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Heather partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Your puppy will go home with a 2-year genetic health guarantee, a veterinary exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and a gift bag to help them settle into their new home. Deposit will hold puppy, is non refundable, and will go towards purchase price.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. From 11 poodle puppies down to 5… they’re growing up fast! 🐾 They will be 17 weeks old tomorrow, so we’re starting crate training at night. Big step for these babies. Their play area keeps expanding, and we’re still sticking with outside time every 2 hours. Their favorite part of the day is running as a full pack across our acre and into the woods. 🌲🐩 Such happy, confident pups — it’s been so fun watching them grow. ❤️

Meet Pebbles, my beautiful F1B merle Mini Goldendoodle 💕 Mini Goldendoodles are known for their incredible temperament, intelligence, and affectionate nature. They are the perfect blend of the Golden Retriever and Poodle—bringing together the loyalty and sweetness of a Golden with the intelligence and low-shedding coat of a Poodle. These pups are highly trainable, family-oriented, and thrive on companionship, making them wonderful additions to both active and laid-back homes. Pebbles is a perfect example of everything people love about this breed. She has been thoughtfully bred with a strong focus on health and temperament, resulting in a happy, well-balanced girl with a loving personality and beautiful coat. This year, Pebbles is officially on the lookout for her perfect boyfriend 💙 We are planning to pair her with a Toy or Mini Poodle, with the hope of welcoming a gorgeous litter of micro to mini F1BB Goldendoodles. About Nola
Nola is a small Standard Poodle with a refined, elegant build, standing 23 inches tall and weighing 42 pounds. She has a beautiful brown phantom coat that has softened over time into a stunning café au lait phantom. She has the gentle, confident temperament the Standard Poodle is known and loved for — intelligent, intuitive, affectionate, and highly people-focused. Nola has completed numerous advanced obedience classes and has earned her Canine Good Citizen title as well as her Therapy Dogs International certification. Beyond her titles, she is also my personal service dog, a role she fulfills with steadiness, reliability, and heart.
