Q. & A. with Isabella

  • Why did you start breeding?

My journey with dogs started long before I ever became a breeder. As a kid, my brother and I begged for a dog, and after proving we were responsible, my mom welcomed our first Standard and Toy Poodles. That’s when my love for dogs truly began especially for Standard Poodles, a breed that will always have a special place in my heart. Over the years my love for dogs grew. My first Cocker Spaniel Lady, a gift from my mom, became my responsibility, and she sparked my passion for Cockapoos. From there I fell in love with Cockapoos, and eventually Cavapoos became my focus also. In the beginning of COVID, I officially started my own breeding program, but my journey started long before that. With over a decade of experience and 6ish years running my own program, I’ve dedicated my life to raising healthy, loving, and well-socialized puppies. Beyond breeding, I’ve always had a deep love for rescue dogs. We’ve rescued dogs over the years, and it’s something I hold close to my heart. One day, I hope to get back into rescuing and possibly fostering dogs again. And while Cockapoos and Cavapoos are my focus right now, I know that one day I’ll return to my roots and start breeding Standard Poodles again, because that’s where my love and passion truly began. This journey has been incredible, and I’m so grateful for every moment of it.
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is built on love, dedication, and a deep passion for raising incredible dogs. From the moment they’re born, my puppies are raised with care, socialization, and the highest standards to ensure they grow into happy, well-adjusted companions. Standard Poodles have stolen my heart, and I also have a deep love for Cavapoos and Cockapoos. My dogs have truly saved my life—they have given me love, purpose, and so much joy. They’ve done more for me than I could ever put into words, and that’s why this journey means so much. One day, I’d love to get back into breeding purebred Standard Poodles, as they were where my passion for dogs truly began. Every puppy that leaves my home takes a piece of my heart with them, and knowing they’ll bring joy to their new families is what makes this journey so rewarding. Through it all, my faith has guided me, and I know this journey wouldn’t be possible without God. ‘Every good and perfect gift is from above…’ – James 1:17 I am beyond grateful for the love, purpose, and blessings He has placed in my life through these amazing dogs.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Cockapoo puppies are mini size. Poodle puppies include toy, miniature, and standard sizes. Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Breeder-Reported Testing

Good level

Heavenly Puppies to Love reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Cavapoos.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Full Embark Panel

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Working with Isabella from Heavenly Puppies to Love was such a wonderful experience. She put so much care into raising Valentino, and that love was obvious from the moment he joined our family. She sent us adorable videos from his early days, provided a thorough notebook with his vaccinations and deworming records, and made pickup easy and well organized. Most importantly, Isabella continued to check in after we brought him home. When his stomach was unsettled during the transition, she was responsive, reassuring, and generous with practical advice from her own experience. She genuinely celebrated every update as he recovered and settled in. Valentino is now happy, healthy, playful, wonderful with our kids, and truly part of our family. We’re incredibly grateful to Isabella for bringing this beautiful puppy into our lives and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, communicative, and responsible breeder.

Isabella was seriously amazing throughout this whole experience. From the very beginning, she made us feel so comfortable and confident in our decision and never once made us feel rushed or pressured. Communication was effortless the entire time — she was always responsive, patient, and genuinely cared about helping us find the right puppy for our little family. We FaceTimed which honestly made such a difference and helped us feel even more connected and reassured through the process. Since our puppy had to travel to us, we were a little nervous at first, but Isabella made everything feel so smooth, easy, and stress-free. You can truly tell how much love and care she puts into her dogs and the families they go to. We’re beyond grateful for her and absolutely in love with our new baby 🤎🐾

Very friendly and helpful, easy communication with all the details and help we could ask for. Very accommodating and brought the most perfect puppy into our family! Plenty of helpful supplies and toys came with her to make the transition best for the pup.

I had such a wonderful experience with Isabella. From the very beginning since I reached out to her, she responded back to all my questions and concerns with honesty, kindness, and detailed responses that made me feel secure in making the decision to adopt my puppy from her. I now have my best bud, Teddy, it’s been 2 months now and he is exactly how she described him to be and I am beyond grateful Isabella raised such an amazing companion. He is extremely social with no behavioral issues and desensitized to many different noises. I was shocked to be able to have such a relaxing walk with him on the 4th of July while fire works were going off! Such a happy and confident dog. Her love, compassion and dedication shines through my dog and I’m so glad I trusted Isabella with my fur baby. As I mentioned, she was completely honest with all my questions and answered with such depth and care. She even sent home a big goodie bag with essentials and more! As much as it’s important to get a healthy/happy puppy, it’s just as important that the person breeding these dogs genuinely cares about their well-being as well as future owners. Thank you Isabella and God bless always!

We had a fantastic experience working with Isabella. She kept us updated throughout the process, sending photos regularly as he grew and was so helpful with the pickup process when we brought him home. The puppy binder she prepared was very informative and organized and really helped get us through our first few weeks of new puppy parent anxiety. We could not be happier with our sweet boy Walter. He is the perfect blend of the 2 breeds, he is so smart and independent, but also so loving and snuggly. He loves people, kids, and other dogs and is even getting along well with our cats, although he is still a little too much for them at times. He came fully crate trained and he loves his crate, he will even put himself in it for naps or if he’s ready to go to bed, it’s amazing. I can’t say enough about what a great dog he is and you can really tell that he was well socialized and well loved from the moment he was born until we brought him home at 8 weeks old. If you are considering getting a cavapoo, I highly recommend working with Isabella!

I welcomed home a sweet, smart, confident 8 week old cockapoo bred by Isabella. The whole experience was excellent. I felt supported through answering my questions before submitting my application. I was kept up-to-date on the pregnancy and got so many puppy photos and videos. Isabella cares about the transition home, too. She provided a binder with tips, initial vet records, and some basic supplies (including toys that smelled like mommy and littermates). I highly recommend Isabella and her puppies.
