I'm Erika M., the breeder behind Heritage Lane French bulldogs located in Denver, PA. We bought our first, and only, French Bulldog in January of 2023. After a decade of dreaming and researching dog breeds the French Bulldog just captured our hearts with their smooshed faces, big ears and laidback personality. Hazel (mama dog) has been a wonderful addition to our family and hobby farm and has befriended everyone including our mini donkeys and cats. Miss Hazel is our beloved family pet that enjoys family vacations with us to the cabin, trips to the park with the kids and meeting new people. Especially if they are willing to give her a belly rub or let her sit on their lap!

  • What makes your program special?

    In 2020 we bought a piece of land with family origins dating back 100+ years. From kids, gardens and animals to love, creativity and rest we believe the home is the key to successful growth. We believe things are just better when they are homemade, homegrown and have deep roots. Our dog, Hazel, enjoys a life with wide open space to play with the kids. But honestly she mostly enjoys naps in the sun, a slow night by the campfire on someone's lap or lounging around on the porch with the kids.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include tricolors, blue fawn, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Erika

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $2,900 - $3,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC registration, first round of shots and dewormer, a vet health check, socialization, a puppy blanket and a small bag of puppy food to help with transitioning to a new home! A deposit with allow you to pick out the puppy best suited for you and your family and save it as yours until he or she is 8 weeks old and pick up time is arranged. We will keep you up to date with vet checks etc. If for some unforeseen reason they are diagnosed by our vet with any kind of health defect your deposit can be refunded.”

Erika may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     I reserved my puppy at 1.5 weeks old. From then on I kept in regular contact with Erika as she kept me so wonderfully updated on my puppy’s growth and progress. From photos and videos to advice on how to prepare to bring my puppy home. Our sweet girl Cleo came home practically full potty trained and well adjusted to people of all ages. Working with Erika has been a pleasure. On pick up day, as we pulled up we were greeted by a lovely sight and a bunch of puppies! What a wonderful experience it was.
