Meet the breeder

I'm Jennifer D., the breeder behind HiCountry Goldens located in Windsor, CO. I'm proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies I raise for other families to love! The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members. I am open to flying a puppy to you for the price of the plane ticket and pet fee, no other fees needed! :) Also, for families local to the Colorado front range, I am also a pet sitter and will pet sit your puppy for a reduced amount, that is locked in for life!

Q. & A. with Jennifer

  • Why did you start breeding?

I began breeding after about 15 years in the breed. I had studied various lines and wanted to include those lines into my own. Breeding with care for length of life, temperament and structure.
  • What makes your program special?

I believe it is the amount of heart I put into my puppies. They are temperament tested, structurally evaluated and well socialized. They are ready to become your best friend and more!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
