Whitney G.

Breeder of Pembroke Welsh Corgis

Meet the breeder

I'm Whitney G., the breeder behind High Caliber Kennels located in Okeechobee, FL. We are a hobby Corgi breeder with a goal to make sure your new puppy makes a seamless transition from our family to yours. I'm committed to producing healthy, happy Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies, and I do everything I can to prepare them for their forever families. I am dedicated to the well-being of my pups.

Q. & A. with Whitney

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started breeding in 2019 after getting our first Corgi. She is the smartest and probably the most loving dog I have ever had. She grew up alongside our youngest son and those two are still thick as thieves. We decided we wanted to share that temperament with others which led us to breed.
  • What makes your program special?

We raise our breeding dogs and pups alongside our family. They sleep in our beds, steal our pillows and our hearts. We recently implemented a guardian program that allows a few select families to take in one of our puppies from our breeding program. They raise them in their homes and once they retire, they get to stay with them. This allows our program to grow without taking away from our current pups!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, red, and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
