Getting a puppy from Jordan

Jordan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Jordan partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“Best Match for each puppy is decided in between weeks 7 and 8 after careful consideration for each puppy’s temperament, activity level, energy level, hunting drive, and retrieving passion. We compare all of the characteristics and traits of every pup and match them to their families on the waitlist before 8 weeks. At which point they go home a few days later. Match is always within the litter and sex the new pup parents decide. We take it from there! ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“All puppy purchases includes 8 week vaccinations, Puppy Health Vet Exam, deworming, and microchip. All puppies come with a 26 month health guarantee. Best match to be complete on or before the pups are 8 weeks old (we will pick for you based on our observations and your needs), with pickup at our home by the 9 week mark.”

I was initially going with a different breeder, but was getting horrible communication from them and thankfully— I found Jordan! I knew immediately he was the right choice for us because he always responded to questions and even invited us out to the ranch a couple of times. And it didn’t stop after picking up our puppy! He’s called multiple times to check how things are going. That shows me that he truly cares about these dogs! We couldn’t be happier with our girl and it feels good knowing she came from a trusted breeder. The whole process was seamless!

We had an amazing experience getting our new puppy from Jordan! From the very first phone call to the moment we left with our puppy, everything was smooth, professional, and so well organized. Jordan and his family truly care about each of their dogs, and it shows in every part of the process. They kept in touch the entire time and sent regular updates on our puppy’s litter, which made us feel connected. You can tell these puppies are raised with love and attention. We are so grateful and would absolutely recommend Jordan to anyone looking for a happy, healthy, and well-loved puppy!

What a great experience with Jordan and Ken. The amount of care and effort they spent on the dogs was amazing. The love they put into each of them you could see. I was looking for a local breeder with home and field pedigree and what a gem to find them so close. Welcoming us up to visit and socialize with all of the puppies at week 4 and again at week 6 was amazing. It just shows how much care they put into each puppy. We brought Maple home on 60+mph winds and Jordan and Ken still adjusted and made it work just showing the effort they put in. She is adapting easily and grow like a weed. Her spunk and character is amazing as I assume comes from her mom. Thank you for everything Jordan and the whole family - Sinclair's

We found High Country Golden Retrievers by searching reputable golden retriever breeders on Google. After reading several testimonials, we took a look at their site. We were impressed with the format and easy access to our litter of puppies. Timber and Sky are his parents, both were very present at each visit. We enjoyed watching the pups interact with both parents as well as the entire Tarbett family. It was great to watch the pups socialize on their own terms. Rio approached us immediately and crawled up in Michaela’s lap and went to sleep. After spending most of the first visit getting all the attention from Michaela, he wandered over to me and spent time gnawing at my laces and hands. We were able to visit almost weekly, so our time spent allowed Jordan and his team to place the right dog with us. We truly enjoyed our interactions with Jordan and his family. He was incredibly responsive, accommodating our requests to visit the puppies with ease. He even followed up after pickup, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. We brought Rio home 1/16/26, he has been amazing because there are several characteristics that he possess’ that really shocked us. Rio was able to fetch the ball and bring it back 100% from day 1 with us. He has been great at his potty training, about 95% of the time he is able to let us know and get out to his spot without incident. Rio has been demonstrating that he can sit & stay almost immediately. Rio can recall the trails that we walk throughout the property after spending 1 or 2 times on each of them. Rio is a very affectionate boy who is always looking for praise. He is almost 21 pounds after living with us for 2 weeks, Rio is a great addition to our family! We are genuinely impressed with the skillset that Rio possess’, that can only be due to excellent breeding and consistent efforts with socialization at their kennels

Adopting our puppy with Jordan was an amazing experience. From the first call to meeting our puppy the process was smooth. The moment we met our puppy (Canelo) we knew he was meant to be part of our little family. He is such a happy and healthy puppy. We are so grateful for this experience and would highly recommend High Country Golden to anyone considering adding a furry family member!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Breeder & Incredible Experience My wife and I spent a lot of time researching and speaking with different breeders, and from the very beginning we knew Jordan, and Ken, had the knowledge, transparency, and genuine passion for the breed immediately stood out. The level of care, structure, and attention to detail they put into raising their dogs is truly exceptional. You can clearly see the love, time, and intention that goes into every single puppy—from early development and socialization to communication throughout the entire process. We welcomed Mr. Blue “Oakley” from Sage and Loki’s Fall ’25 litter, and he has been absolutely amazing. He is thriving, learning quickly, growing like a weed, and fitting seamlessly into our family. His temperament and confidence are a direct reflection of the incredible foundation Jordan and his family provided. We are beyond grateful and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Thank you, Jordan and family—you are doing something truly special, and it shows in every way. We appreciate you all more than words can say. — Jack & Tonya
