We had a wonderful experience with High Country Golden Retrievers! From the moment we met Jordan, his daughters, and his parents (Ken and family), we felt completely welcomed and at ease. We visited the litter of 11 puppies three times, and each visit confirmed that this was the right fit for us. The love, care, and knowledge Jordan brings to breeding is evident in every interaction. Our Mr. Red (now Copper) has been the perfect match for our family. He’s adjusting beautifully to his big sister Stella and settling in well with the Brungardt crew. The puppies are truly something special—raised with care, backed by championship field-bred bloodlines, excellent health history, and amazing personalities. We’re beyond grateful for this experience and for the newest member of our family. Thank you for everything! —The Brungardt Family

We absolutely could not have had a better, more special experience adding a new furbaby to our family than working with High Country Golden Retrievers. From the first conversation that we had with them - learning about the way that they breed their pups, the way they care for new litters, the way they match pups and owners, the way they prep puppies for go-home day, and the way that they stay in touch with their adoptive families - we were sold. They have a very special family business - it's clear that they love what they do and put all that love into very special pups.

We had a fantastic experience working with Jordan as our dog breeder! From the very beginning, he was incredibly communicative and knowledgeable about both the puppies and their parents. He was transparent throughout the entire process and made us feel involved every step of the way. We even got to visit our pup at the farm when he was around 5–6 weeks old, which was such a special moment! Jordan regularly sent us updates, photos, and helpful information, making the process smooth and stress-free. We especially appreciated the thoughtful matching process—after sharing what we were looking for in a pup, Jordan did an amazing job pairing us with our perfect match. Our puppy, Chauncey, is thriving at home and we are completely obsessed with him! We couldn’t be happier. We would 100% recommend Jordan to anyone looking for a loving and responsible breeder. Thank you, Jordan!

We had a great experience working with Jordan! From the start, it was clear how much he genuinely cares about his dogs. He provided weekly updates and made personal calls to learn exactly what my family and I were looking for in a puppy. Thanks to his thoughtful approach, he matched us with the perfect pup—our sweet Clover! Clover was well-socialized from the beginning and has picked up on her training very quickly. She came to us in excellent health with up-to-date shots, and both Jordan and his dad carefully walked us through all the AKC registration paperwork, health records, and microchip information. We felt confident and supported every step of the way.We drove 12 hours to pick up our puppy because after doing tons of research Jordan's dogs and the care he takes with his dogs really stood out. We’re so grateful for Jordan and highly recommend High Country Golden Retrievers to anyone looking for a well-cared-for, loving puppy with excellent lines!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Jordan and his sweet dogs. From the beginning, he was amazing to work with and clearly passionate about what he does. When we brought home our first pup in September 2024, we were instantly in love. Jordan was there for us every step of the way as we adjusted to life as new dog parents. It was such a positive experience that by May 2025, we found ourselves welcoming a second pup into our home. Both dogs are sweet, energetic, and full of personality. They’ve brought so much joy to our lives and have truly completed our family. We are beyond grateful to Jordan for raising such incredible dogs and for the support and care he showed us throughout the journey!

Would recommend High Country Golden to anyone looking for their new best friend!! Jordan is extremely knowledgeable about the breed and passionate about ensuring his pups go to the perfect home to match their personality. Our pup has fit our family and lifestyle so perfectly thanks to the extensive process that Jordan and his family go through to match pups to owners. She’s playful and full of energy, but also highly trainable and loyal. The perfect pup and exactly what we were looking for! Would work with Jordan again in a heartbeat!
