I'm Dakota D., the breeder behind High Desert Labradoodles located in Bend, OR. We are proud of the affectionate, smart, beautiful, and healthy puppies we’re are providing. We are very selective in our breeding decisions and we prioritize the individual socialization of each puppy. Gentle touch, early neurological stimulation, initiating potty training and a whole lot of love.
Q. & A. with Dakota
Why did you start breeding?
We were guardians for another breeder who was kind enough to take me on as a mentor. As I shared my joy of supporting human births, he generously taught me the skills necessary to competently support canine births, newborn puppy care and development.
What makes your program special?
We actually choose to do this small time. We do one litter at a time and often only 3 litters per year. This allows us to pour everything we've got into each litter and then step back and replenish ourselves before doing another litter. We take time to really know each family who gets a puppy from us whether they are local or across the country. We are nurturing your future family members!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include caramel cream, caramel, caramel red, red, apricot, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
