Meet the breeder

I'm Naomi T., the breeder behind High Mountain Crosses located in Wallingford, CT. Our goal here at High Mountain Crosses is to breed active companion pets for single or multi people homes. High Mountain Crosses prioritizes structure and health (both physical and mental). Our puppies and dogs are best suited for homes that are active in one or multiple ways. We focus on good temperaments around people and other animals as well as physical upkeep. Wether you backpack, hike, camp, run, swim etc, we plan to find a good match within our litters just for you.

Q. & A. with Naomi

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always been around breeding dogs. I have raised and help whelp multiple litters of many different breeds and mixes, and want to try giving it a shot myself under the help of my mentors.
  • What makes your program special?

How hands on and attentive we are to both our breeding dogs and their puppies. Our honesty, our transparency and ability to connect with new owners on a deeper level. We take the placing of our puppies very serious and are strict but loving. We love to keep in touch with all of our puppy owners and offer the support we can.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Companion Cross puppies include medium and large sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Companion Cross puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Siberian Husky puppies include sable and white, red and white, gray and white, black tan and white, agouti and white, brown and white, black and white, white, and black. Companion Cross puppies include white, brindle, black and white, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
