Kala U.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Kala U., the breeder behind High Society Farm located in Linden, MI. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and structure. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We are passionate about animals, so we also train horses and run a non-profit for rescue dogs on the farm. We aim to have our love shine through in every aspect of our program.

Q. & A. with Kala

  • Why did you start breeding?

After researching different breeds that I love, I decided on English Cream golden retrievers. Our first two females are imports from champion Russian and that is how we got our start. We now also have one Male stud imported from the Ukraine.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program is very special. All our dogs are either direct imports from champion lines from Russian or Ukraine, or immediate descents of imported quality dogs. We strive to have the best of the breed with clear health screenings, great temperaments, and OFA clearances. All our dogs are raised in our home as our family. Once the puppies are 4/5 weeks old they have a custom playroom! Ball pits, slides, different textures floor and more! We litter train all our puppies starting at 3 weeks to give them a head start for potty training. We also Temperament test all our puppies at 8 weeks, so that we can help place them into the most fitting homes.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
