I'm Kelly K., the breeder behind HighRoller Golden Retrievers located in Ely, MN. We breed our puppies with a special focus on health, temperament, and performance. We take great pride in each of our dogs! We breed only one or two litters a year. We have produced multiple Obedience Title Champions, Master Agility Champions, Master Hunters, and titles in many other performance venues. Several of our pups have been invited to the AKC National Obedience Championships, Rally Nationals, National Agility Championships, and AKC Master National. We take pride in raising our puppies according to Aviddog culture giving them a headstart in life. When you own a HighRoller you become a part of a larger HighRoller family.

Why did you start breeding?
Pretty much I began breeding without a solid goal in mind. My first Golden had all the great qualities a golden should possess so just wanted to reproduce her. Her first litter gave her the title of "Outstanding Dam". The rest is history!
What makes your program special?
My breeding program is special because I am committed to my pups for their lifetime.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kelly

Kelly has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes socialization, worming, vaccination, microchip, health visit to DVM, a lifetime of support, and 30-month warranty for genetic diseases in which case we refund up to 100%. Deposit refunds may be negotiated on an individual basis.”

Contract & health guarantee

Kelly may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Olive is a very laid back and quiet girl. She has a great nose but uses it for purposes of her own. Her coat requires very little grooming, just light brushing occasionally.

Tuna is 52lbs, 20.5" tall, and has a wonderful Golden temperament. She is retired from breeding and continues to bring joy to our lives. Tuna is Bubba's, YaYa's and Azeri's dam. Her puppies have all the qualities a Golden Retriever should possess.

Bubba is Funny and Animated. He is an excellent field retriever and a joy to train and trial. Bubba is very smart and biddable, he learns quickly with little compulsion and is a serious worker. He is hard to contain as he can jump 6 feet easily.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
