Q. & A. with Claire
Why did you start breeding?
My parents bred dogs long before I did and are a vital part of this breeding program. When I started showing dogs, it unlocked a passion in me to breed dogs that are versatile and are accurate representations of the breed standard. My stepdad studied and researched for 10 years to create the SuperStar Dog Program backed by research in canine psychology and development.
What makes your program special?
This breeding program utilizes the SuperStar Dog Program to expose our puppies to all kinds of stimuli starting at only 3 days old continuing through other critical periods of development. This reduces chances of fear, builds confidence, and increases their natural investigative nature. We also team with other breeders who have been in Brittanys for over 50 years. We only produce around one litter every few years to ensure we are always breeding ethically. All of our dogs that we own and outside dogs that we breed to have all received passing health scores and their CHIC numbers. The care and dedication we provide our dogs is of upmost importance to us. We also utilize a matching program to pick the best puppy to fit your family. Our puppy application is geared towards determining what your family is looking for. Then, our evaluations of structure, temperament, and bird drive help up pick the puppy that suits you!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are orange and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Luci
Luci has proven herself to be a quality dog and to produce even better than herself. Luci has a long list of achievements. Her first litter was a litter of 15, however due to circumstances out of our control, only 13 are still with us. Of the 13, we have 7 AKC Champions, and 2 more well on their way. We also have 6 titled in the field and another 3 with performance titles. There are also 3 puppies who have hunted with their owners with rave reviews on how well they performed in the field.
Parent health testing
Breeder-Reported Testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Profile, OFA/CHIC DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
