I'm Kristen B., the breeder behind Hillside Farm located in Buna, TX. Bordoodles & Bernedoodles are an incredible breed. They are SUPER dogs, this cross really compliments both breeds. I feel so lucky to spend my days surrounded by these wonderful dogs who are my family and being able to share them with others. All of our dogs are raised for health & temperament.

Why did you start breeding?
I have worked in many AKC/UKC kennels and have always enjoyed being around the breeders and helping raise the puppies. I decided to breed whenever I owned a Border Collie and loved the traits that both Border Collie and Poodle carried.What makes your program special?
My dogs being family raised, we spend quality time with them, we feel like we can pair the dogs to create a wonderful line of the breed with excellent temperaments and a level amount of energy to provide wonderful life long companions & family pets.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bordoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Kristen
Kristen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $3,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price will depend on color & generation (coat types). Deposit is NON refundable unless the puppy becomes ILL, Deceased or deemed unhealthy by a licensed veterinarian.”
Contract & health guarantee
Kristen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
