Holly Hill Kennels

Traci P.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Traci P., the breeder behind Holly Hill Kennels located in Climax, NC. Our mission is to provide the joy of well-bred healthy puppies that will become cherished members of the family. Here at Holly Hill, each dog is cared for and loved by everyone. Some might say they are spoiled rotten, but that's the way we like it. They have such fun and different personalities it's hard not to fall in love at first sight.

Q. & A. with Traci

  • Why did you start breeding?

My grandfather operated A dairy farm where he also bred Labrador Retrievers. I loved helping him around the farm and with the puppies. I am a retired teacher and now have the time to devote all of my attention to what I love to do.
  • What makes your program special?

Everyone participates in the program adding their own expertise to enhance what we do. We all have various jobs and interactions within the breeding program from researching the best breeding practices to the CEO of puppies, our granddaughters hold that position. Our dream is to breed quality dogs and pair the right puppy with a happily-ever-after family.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
