Meet the breeder

I'm Denise P., the breeder behind Home Grown Schnauzers located in Margate, FL. We focus on temperament, health, and raising well-adjusted companions who transition easily into their forever homes. We are a small, in-home breeder dedicated to raising happy, healthy Miniature Schnauzers as part of our family. Our dogs are not kennel dogs — they live inside our home, sleep in beds, and are surrounded by daily love and interaction.

Q. & A. with Denise

  • Why did you start breeding?

We really don't consider ourselves "Breeders" as this is our first litter, and we only had 1 pup. Our dogs are our family, we do plan on breeding 1 more time in a year because schnauzers run in our family and my mothers will be ready for schnauzer next year and wants one of our babies pups.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a loving home, our babies are loved not "breeded"
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include liver, salt and pepper, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
